The best food in Cala Millor! Very nice staff and good prices! Highly recommendations for this place

The restaurant on looks alone seemed ok more like a roadside restaurant with nothing special. But the service by the elderly waiter was very attentive after being ignored by him more than four times. This redeemed the rating on service. The starters were actually surprisingly good. We had the steak tar tar and the Cantabrian anchovies on tomatoes. Excellent on both. The mains ribeye steak was cooked to perfection but a tad sinewy which let it down a bit. Over all a very good experience and would come back.

Loved so much we dined here twice! Tapas options great! Kids menu very good. Value good. Friendly quick service.

We were recommended this restaurant by the hotel, and we were so pleased with the food, service and over all ambience. We ate the suggested special Chateaubriand, which we cooked at a table bbq at our table, to our personal tastes. Fantastic. We will be back! Great Spanish dishes, so much nicer than the usual restaurants on the waterfront.

I have returned this year 2025 and it still is fantastic. Meats cooked well and exaclty to how you like it. Staff friendly and can book over the phone. You must try their home made desert in the main menu! 2023 - Absolutely amazing! Lovely atmosphere, really kind staff and beautiful food - steak and special kebab were great and pizza freshly cooked (not frozen!) and great drinks. 100% will be visiting here again and recommending it to all of my friends.

Food... great, service... great. Lovely place. We visited at about 4pm in August and was quiet. A staff member immediately asked how many people and directed us to a suitable table. Drinks came shortly after then so did the food which was delicious. Personally I had squid which needs skill to cook right and was perfect. No complaints here.

Those dining outside of peak season have a good chance of getting a table spontaneously. However, during high season and especially for larger groups of four or more, a reservation is advisable. While there is a terrace, it's situated on the sidewalk and isn't particularly inviting, which can be a downside on balmy summer evenings. While the meat is undoubtedly the star of the menu, other dishes are also quite solid - if not earth-shattering. For meat lovers, Amapola is definitely worth a visit. Verdict: Restaurant Amapola impresses with its outstanding meat offerings and the unique opportunity to grill your own steak. The combination of rustic charm and modern flair creates a pleasant atmosphere. Despite minor weaknesses in the side dishes and the air quality in winter, it's a top destination for anyone looking to enjoy high-quality meat in Cala Millor. The seafood and Sangria were delicious. Very friendly staff too. Edit - we went back for our last meal of the trip and it was just as good. Best restaurant in town!
